IDSA at a glance

International Demonstration School of Abidjan (IDSA) is an independent, coeducational, university preparatory school organized into four divisions: Preschool, Lower school, middle school and high school. As a demonstration school, and technology leader in education, we provide pedagogical practices aligned with rigorous college readiness standards. Average student to teacher ratio
At IDSA, each class has a maximum of 12 students with access to a class teacher, associate teacher and specialist teacher

Faculty and Classroom
IDSA is well resourced with highly experienced and internationally exposed teachers, associate teachers and interns. Ours is a situation where teachers are facilitators helping students learn how to learn. Our classrooms are highly interactive as students learn in an exciting and conducive atmosphere.

Facilities
International Demonstration School of Abidjan is situated on an attractive and conducive campus at Cocody Riviera Bonoumin, Non loin d´Abidjan Mall, après l´Eglise Catholic St. Joseph. IDSA building houses bright and air-conditioned classrooms, state-of-the-art technology, music and drama, full internet facilities, and a cafeteria.

Diplomas
On completion of their training, our graduates are awarded the American High School Diploma from the university of Nebraska High School (UNHS), Lincoln, United States.

Language Support
Classes at IDSA are taken exclusively in the mode of English. Since we are in a French speaking country, the students learn French language as a course. Equally, a variety of language electives such as Spanish, German, and Latin are available for students. Enrollments are accepted at all grades. We have developed a special language support program for non-Anglophones. This highly enriched program, in small class sizes, is presented from preschool through high school.
